School Days...

The school year is nearing the end and it's almost my favorite day of the year....the first day of summer vacation!  I love that day because you still have the whole summer vacation ahead of you with no days used up.  Of course, this is the teacher point of view.  I'm often told from the parent point of view that it's just the opposite for them.  The favorite day for parents is the day in August when school starts:) Hummmm......

Well, we've hit a milestone at our house regarding school.  Our only child, Lauren, graduated from University of Missouri last Saturday.  We are so proud of her accomplishments and the lovely person she has become.  She'll be off to grad school in the fall to continue her studies, but this first chapter has come to a close.  Here are a few pics from last weekend.







Yes, she "blinged" her cap in tiger stripes!  Probably spent more time doing that than studying for finals.  That's my girl!
